Let's Begin!

On page 47, someone had written: Please finish the story.

You borrow a book from a library and find a handwritten note addressed to whoever reads it next.

Your 60-second story

  1. Explain why the message matters to your character.
  2. Give your character a clue that leads to a discovery.
  3. Conclude with a decision that completes the story—or starts another.

Tell your story aloud in about 60 seconds. Give it a beginning, a turning point and an ending.

Extra challenge

Tell it again from another character’s point of view. What changes?
